In the Pathfinder Challenges 2024 call, 31 projects have been selected for funding and will contribute to development of breakthrough solutions in 5 strategic areas as part of a portfolio led by an expert programme manager.

Participants from the Czech Republic are part of 3 successful consortia. They will thus participate in the following projects:

  • 2DFERROPLEX (Ferroelectric 2D materials heterostructures for optical neuromorphic device functionalities) and SpikeHERO (Spiking hybrid edge computing for robust optoelectronical signal processing) in the portfolio Nanoelectronics for energy-efficient smart edge devices
  • STRATOLASER (Stratospheric balloon-based laser ablation system for Space debris removal) in the portfolio Strengthening the sustainability and resilience of EU space infrastructure

Details are available hereThe colour-coded projects in the attached file do not have partners from Widening Countries and are therefore potentially suitable for the Widera Hop-on call.
