Prague is part of the New European Bauhaus STAvangeR project

The EuropeanCommission selected five New European Bauhaus lighthouse projects to be financed across Europe. The projects were proposed in the €25 million call for Support the deployment of lighthouse demonstrators for the New European Bauhaus initiative in the context of Horizon Europe missions (HORIZON-MISS-2021-NEB-01.

The projects will create more sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful spaces in locations across the EU and will involve citizens in the green transition at the local level.

Czechia is among the 13 countries participating in the selected projects: together with Netherlands and Norway will take part in New European Bauhaus STAvangeR project. NEB-STAR project will showcase how territorial transformation plans can incorporate the principles and values of the New European Bauhaus in Prague, Stavanger and Utrecht. The project will tackle four emblematic challenges linked to climate-neutral cities, all considering local needs and concerns through co-creation with residents and stakeholders.
