The Technology Centre Prague (TC Praha) announces a call for applications for travel grants to support the participation of Czech entities in brokerage / matchmaking events of Horizon Europe Pillar 2 clusters. Grants of a maximum amount of €1,000 are awarded from the budget of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project financed by the European Commission with the aim of supporting the participation of entities from the Czechia and other Widening countries in project applications submitted to Pillar 2 clusters calls.

The application must be submitted no later than 15 working days before the selected brokerage event.

Overview of upcoming partnership meetings (brokerage / matchmaking events):

We recommend to go to the Czech Horizon Europe website and the Horizon Europe NCPs Portal.

 Priority will be given to:

  • potential coordinator,
  • potential work package leader or active participant in the project (Task Leader),
  • an applicant willing to share his competences and ideas through a presentation (pitch), which are a regular part of brokerage events.

 Documents required for the application:

  • completed application form
  • short CV in English (max. 1 page)
  • confirmation of registration, event program or invitation letter

Send documents to Anna Vosečková at voseckova@tc.cz.

Applications will be assessed by the TC Prague committee, which will, among others, take into account reasonable principles of gender equality. All applicants will be informed about the granting or rejection of the application no later than 10 working days before the brokerage event. In case of a positive assessment, TC Praha will conclude a contract with the applicant for the purpose of reimbursing travel expenses.

Financing

A travel grant in the maximum amount of €1,000 per trip will be reimbursed by TC Praha to the selected applicant if he submits a reimbursement request within 10 working days after the end of the event (completed participation report form, boarding passes or train tickets, the air ticket and accommodation invoices), electronically to voseckova@tc.cz.

The call is open until TC Praha's budget is exhausted, which will cover a total of 80 travel grants.

Information on the travel grants can be found on the NCP_WIDERA.NET project website here.

Application form, follow-up form and a model contract are attached.
