EU Award for Gender Equality Champions in 2023

Commissioner Iliana Ivanova and Director General for Research and Innovation Marc Lemaître announced the recipients on 15 May 2023  (read the EC press release here):

Category 1 (Sustainable Gender Equality Champions)

Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France

Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain

Category 2 (Newcomer Gender Equality Champions)

Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest, from Ireland

Category 3 (Inclusive Gender Equality Champions)

No prize was awarded as none of the applicants satisfied the award criteria.

Across the above listed categories, each winner will receive a prize of €100,000.
