European partnership Innovative Materials for EU (IAM4EU)

The ambition of this co-programmed European partnership is to establish and maintain a cross-sectorial, multidisciplinary, collaborative Europe-wide Research and Innovation ecosystem that will significantly accelerate the time-to-market of sustainable innovative advanced materials (IAMs) and associated technologies designed for a digital circular economy.

The partner of the European Commission in the implementation of this co-programmed partnership is the international non-profit Association Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I), which builds on the preparatory work of the Advanced Materials 2030 Initiative (AMI2030). This type of implementation means, that the topics relevant for this partnership  will become from the year 2025 on part of the Cluster 4 work programme, Destination 2 - Achieving technological leadership for Europe’s open strategic autonomy in raw materials, chemicals and innovative materials.
