Event of TC Prague
When: |
24/06/2021 8:30 AM - 25/06/2021 12:30 PM |
Where: |
on-line |
Technology Centre CAS together with Charles University take pleasure in inviting you to the Applicants´ on-line workshop on How to write a competitive proposal for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Postdoctoral Fellowships? which will be held on 24-25 June 2021. It is part of our training modules „How to successfully participate in Horizon Europe?“ (Module 6).
The on-line workshop will be focused on practical aspects of proposal writing. It is open to the researchers from any disciplines who are currently preparing an MSCA PF proposal for the Call 2021 and are in contact with their future host institution/supervisor regarding their work plan.
CHANGE IN THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE!!!
Originally, registration was opened till 6 June 2021 (23:59). It was required to send your CV and abstract in order to receive feedback from evaluators. The deadline for registration was extended by 20 June (23:59) or till the capacity is full. However, those of you who will register after 6 June will not have the opportunity to get the feedback from the evaluators. Therefore, it is not necessary to send previously required documents any more.
The link will be sent only to the registered participants at the latest one day before the event. The workshop will be held in English. Attached, you will find the programme of the workshop.
The expected MSCA-PF-2021 Call opening date has been changed, newly the call will be open on 22 June 2021, with the postponed deadline of 12 October 2021.
Main changes in eligibility for MSCA PF applicants since the Call 2021:
- They have to be in possession of PhD at the call deadline (including successfully defended doctoral thesis).
- They must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date of award of the doctoral degree. Years of experience outside research, career breaks (e.g. due to maternity/parental leave) and years of experience in research in third countries according to the terminology of HE will not count towards the amount of research experience.
-
No change in mobility rule: you must not have resided or carried out your main activity in the country of your future host institution for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the call deadline.
IMPORTANT:
1) Participation in the workshop presupposes knowledge of Postdoctoral Fellowships in Horizon Europe. The aim of the workshop is not to acquaint future applicants with the new rules of this funding scheme. For that purpose, TC is organising the On-line Information Day on MSCA PF on 21 May 2021. We therefore recommend that you register by 19 May HERE. If you do not participate in the infoday for any reason, do not forget to go through the presentations to get familiar with the MSCA PF before the workshop.
2) Due to the fact that the registration has been launched before the opening of the call (expected on 22 June 2021), those who want to attend the workshop can use the supporting documents from the previous call under H2020. There are also short guidelines related to CV and abstract at your disposal as attachement on this webpage.
