EIC Transition Challenges call supports both the maturation and validation of novel technology from the lab to the relevant application environments and development of a sustainable business case and business model towards commercialisation. Applications must be built on results achieved within an eligible FET/EIC Pathfinder or ERC Proof of Concept project. Project activities are expected be at TRL 5 - 6.
The EIC Transition Challenges call is divided into three strategic areas in 2022:
- Green digital devices for the future
- Process and system integration of clean energy technologies
- RNA-based therapies and diagnostics for complex or rare genetic diseases
For 2022, two cut-offs are planned:
